Who we are
ClearWeek is a personal budgeting app built and maintained by an individual developer. It is not operated by a limited company. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to shdeveloper532@gmail.com.
Privacy in plain English
ClearWeek works with local, on-device data. In normal use, personal budget entries stay on your phone and are not uploaded to developer servers.
What data we collect
ClearWeek stores only what you choose to enter. This may include your optional name, income, savings targets, fixed costs, spending, extra income and app preferences. If you contact support, your email address and message are processed so we can respond.
How we use data
Entries are used to calculate your weekly plan, track transactions and show budget history. Google Play handles Premium purchases. The developer does not receive or store payment-card details.
Lawful basis for processing
In-app budget data is processed on the basis of performance of a contract because it is necessary to provide the features you use. Support emails are processed on the basis of legitimate interests so questions and issues can be answered.

Where data is stored
Core budget data is stored locally on your device. ClearWeek has no developer-hosted cloud sync for budget entries. Google Play processes purchase receipts and subscription status.
How long data is kept
Budget data remains on your device until you remove it. Support emails are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide support and meet legal record-keeping obligations.
Third parties
ClearWeek does not use advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Google Play processes billing under the Google Privacy Policy.
Export and sharing
Export, share and import actions are started by you. Files go only to the location or app you choose. The developer does not receive exported files.
International transfers
If you contact support by email, your email provider and ours may process information outside the UK under their own safeguards and policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection. Because core entries stay on your device, most control is exercised directly there. For formal requests about data the developer can access, email the address above.
Children
ClearWeek is a general budgeting app and is not specifically directed at children.
Right to complain
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
